As the Cockpit/Controls and Brakes lead at Virginia Motorsports, the University of Virginia's Formula SAE Team, I am responsible for leading the design, development, and manufacturing of driver controls, seating and restraints, and the braking system for a student-designed Formula-style race car.

I also lead vehicle dynamics research and development, using my software background to create analytical tools and scripts to facilitate component design and help our fledgling team build intuition for VD. I believe in the importance of creating tools for understanding design parameter sensitivities.
